Deep Defrag and Dreams

Sometimes we try to forget events or people. We try to push them out of our consciousness. Not so fast, says the unconsciousness, as the same images come to us in our dreams with a vengeance. Welcome the dream demons. Jung considered dreams the most important stage where the real inner work gets done. Imagine you are trying to defrag a hard drive, get rid of the fragmented files that can slow down the system or even cause a complete “blue screen of death” crash. If you ever used a defrag tool there are usually two settings, a surface scan or a deep scan. When the demons appear in your dreams you are doing a deep scan, welcome it as a fresh start.
