Klaus Kinski Christus Erlöser

November 20^th, 1971. Berlin Germany Hall – “Jesus Christ the Savior” tour or the “Evening with Klaus Kinski”. Werner Herzog included this episode in his documentary “My Best Fiend: Klaus Kinski”. Werner wanted to illustrate the state of Kinski’s mind  before they started filming the legendary “Aguirre, the Wrath of God”. The film explored the Nietzsche’s Übermensch and his futile quest. I feel an echo of the raging, tragic century, paraphrasing the central metaphor of the civilization.
