I continue to research the vast collection of photos from the LIFE Magazine. I like to collate photos thematically or select photos from a series by one photographer. I noticed very interesting photos by Paul Schutzer, most of them as a Life correspondent in the early 1960s. Here are some photos I really like from the 1960 series in Israel.

I was instantly taken back to my childhood and to those days, when most of these pictures were taken.
What a weonderful and so very risky job, of those photographers! But never the less, they gave us an
authentic PICTURE, of what and how life than happened. These fotos stand for me, as a very important
herrtiage, that we should never forget.

Waht fascinating photographs, they would make an amazing world exhibition if that could happen! Otherwise an excellent book.

The comments under the photos are also very itneresting, explaining mroe than just what is seen but the background to these photographs. However much one knows, there is always more to learn and what
a brilliant collection of photographs to be ab le to see.

Many thanks to those involved.
