Pseudo Psychology of Narcissism

I often hear the term narcissism offline and online, to my regret not only from the laymen but from the American bred “professionals”. I don’t think this term means much and especially when people use it to add a scientific flavor to the expected gibberish. I have finally found when this silly pop phenomenon started. Turns out there was a seminal best selling book The Culture of Narcissism: American Life in an Age of Diminishing Expectations by Christopher Lasch published in 1979.

Idiots, narcissism is not a condition, people relate to the world according to their experience of connecting with other human beings, people are not defined by their mirror reflection in the self produced puddle.
