People look for affirmation of excising ideas. People operate on a limited data, the future rare events are not predictable or expected. People idolize the past and hate the reality of the now. They especially hate people who point to inconsistencies between imaginary past and reality, sometimes it is called art. Persistent patters are unbearable.
