Michael Arrington writes about the flame-out of his tablet project – CrunchPad Federal Lawsuit Filed. It’s so much more complicated to build than to write about it, obviously. And inevitably the first project goes bad, because you always hope for the best, let your guard down about the people. I find the last paragraph there especially interesting as far as the reflection on the free media and the “free market dictatorship” in Singapore:
“The founder of Fusion Garage, Chandrasekar Rathakrishnan, isn’t a good guy. He has been caught plagiarizing articles. His previous company Radixs disintegrated in shareholder disputes and angry employees. We didn’t learn about this until last Summer because Singapore media, including blogs, are largely controlled by the government. Embarrassing stuff just isn’t reported.”
