Tom Kaplan: Guma Aguiar is a “Messiah wannabe”

I am pretty sick of this story but for the sake of clarity I will carry on. As I wrote in Rabbi Reuven Feinstein will not take a stand on Leib Tropper to the Tune of $3m, Guma Aguiar and not his uncle Tom Kaplan is listed as an officer on The Lillian Jean Kaplan Foundation. Turns out Tom Kaplan is suing Guma Aguiar accusing him of misspending the foundation money and calling Guma a “Messiah wannabe”. There is also a legal dispute between Guma and Tom for the proceeds from the  $2.55 bil sale of the company they owned in Texas. So it’s virtually certain that the foundation donations to Chabad are authorized by Guma, not by his uncle Tom Kaplan. Ditto donations to Tropper (these are most probably a subject to legal contest from Guma) if not all donations in that 2008 report.
