Toxoplasmosis – Cats are more Dangerous to Humans than Rodents

I wrote about Robert Sapolsky mentioning Toxoplasma. Now the MSM is picking up the issue. Economist: A game of cat and mouse – There is tantalising evidence that a common parasite may affect human behaviour. Whats interesting is that humans are “dead end” host for a Toxoplasma cyst. But humans are more likely to get infected via feline feces. As I mentioned in regards to Teratoma, it can also trigger a Schizophrenia-like symptoms while it has nothing to do with the “mental health” so to speak. I can’t think of another domestic animal that is as lethal to humans as the cats.
