Zenyatta Shmenyatta

Zenyatta is a mare (female horse), she is a daughter of the Street Cry and she is owned by the Bronx boy Jerry Moss. Jerry Moss is the founder of the A&M music label with the trumpeter Herb Alpert (hence A&M). Zenyatta won all her 17 races and is being called the horse of the decade. Zenyatta was named after the 1980 Police album Zenyattà Mondatta released on the A&M label. What’s interesting about this horse is that she is beating all the boys and doing it in a dramatic fashion. She always starts a race dead last, then falls behind but she manages to win in the end. Here is her 17th win:
