This is an episode of the 1970 Russian/Italian epic film The Battle of Waterloo directed by Sergei Bondarchuk. Confusingly the film has an English speaking cast. This is the moment when Uxbridge orders the charge of the British Heavy Cavalry. Wellington eventually saw them running into a trap of the Napoleon’s Lances and artillery. Wellington ordered a retreat, it was too late to turn them back.
