Take Down the Pyramids

The Egyptian revolution will not be complete till they take down the symbol of the pharaonic monarchy, the pyramids, stone by stone. Do not crash the pyramids, take them apart. To commemorate each of the slaughtered slaves, every single stone should lay flat, horizontally (similar to Peter Eisenman’s Jewish museum in Berlin). Down with the top-stone pointing pyramids celebrating the dictatorship and the authoritarian power. And down with the absolutist monotheism, the bastard child of the pyramidal power. Down with the blasphemous afterlife obsession (the pointed symbolism is clear).

While they take down the real pyramids, please erase the masonic pyramid off the dollar bill.

Pity the fascists who claim revolutions need a “leader”. Pity the communists who claim revolutions need a guillotine.

Update: Might need a guillotine after all…

I am optimistic for the future of Egypt. Those cretins who are saying that Arab peoples are somehow genetically predisposed toward favoring tyrannical rule need to be slapped with a book and made to pay attention. However, as excited as I have been by Tahrir Square and the words and actions witnessed there, the Egyptian military is a major obstacle to the freedom that these (mostly young) people have demanded. I fear that now that the generals have supreme power in the country, they might not only abuse it (which they already have, arresting people for looking a certain way, forcing people out of tahrir square, trying to strong-arm the unions into submission) but refuse to relinquish that power. Even if elections take place, you could have a scenario like Turkey, where there has been a pretense of democracy, but in actuality military rule. (I do not know if this is still the case, I have not followed Turkish politics for quite some time.)

The good news is that many Egyptians are aware that the struggle is far from over and are committed to continuing their resistance, who spy brand new BMW’s on the street while they can barely afford vegetables and will not be content with that situtation.

It has been amazing to see an example of an insurrection that was both nonviolent (with the exception of self defense actions) and leaderless. Any theorist who would have predicted this would have been laughed at by the vast majority of people.

I agree. Egypt pyramids are work of slaves which now find places to live in some other parts of the world where evil people rule. Completely I agree that we should take down pyramids and well as the sphinx. Turks have already destroy its nose. Its a memorial of one ancient culture and suffering of the slaves. Also it would highly boost finances and infrastructure in middle east. This way it is only a memorial which holds people satisfied there not to work or make money in any way because in their heads they think they have something. They have nothing there in middle east. Only a graveyard and a memory of some ancient ruling. But those times are over. Look at the modern forces and countries where people have atomic bombs, technology and space shuttles as well as the sattellites to examine the planet. Also there are machines that produce storms if you use them at one side of the planet they produce storms on the other side. Get rid of the memories and start living rich and powerful.
