The Plunger

I often wonder how people who have caused me a great harm don’t hesitate to eagerly seek my friendship. Part of this undoubtedly is the rationalization. But I am curious, would they seek me out so readily if they felt I have the power or the circumstance to repay them in kind? Never-mind. Try this as an experiment, take a sword and plunge it straight into a person’s heart. You, yourself feel no pain, right? Then add on top of this the culture, the religion and the civilization that encourage this very maneuver.
