Occupy Hormesis

On the subject of Hormesis Hedge. The tent dwellers in Tel Aviv feel that their problems are uniquely Israeli and threaten emigration but from the start of the Jasmine Revolution it was clearly a global event. Only a matter of time till it spread to Tel Aviv, New York, Boston and beyond. You might find yourself under the totalitarian Arab despot or down under the nominally democratic Australia but everywhere you face the identical challenges. The erosion of the local production strained by the global markets and the Internet and the fusion of the political power with the international (1%) oligarchy. The same phenomena is true for the nominally democratic America and the Arab dictatorships. Except the hermetically sealed, greenhouse-like, dictatorial bubbles are insulated from the constant stressors compared to the nominal democracies. The immune system inside the bubbles is vulnerable to a slight virus and so they collapse immediately, while the Hormesis reinforced West lingers and survives (for now).
